Do you have a scale question and how do I add it to my form?

You can add a new [Scale](https://paperform.co/widgets/scale/) question to your form, which is useful for collecting responses that are limited to a fixed scale. Each option can contain symbols, numbers, text, and emojis.

Here's how to add a Scale question to your form:

### Using Slash Commands

 1. Click on the empty line in your form where you'd like to add the new scale question.
 1. Type the following slash command: `/scale`
 1. A drop-down menu will appear. Select "Scale" from the list provided.
 1. Your new question will appear. You can now modify elements like the question title and hint.
 1. Configure your scale question by clicking the configuration panel on the right-hand side of your new field.

### Using Action Buttons

 1. Click on the empty line in your form where you'd like to add the new scale question.
 1. Select the "Add questions" (clipboard) button on the left-hand side of your form editor
 1. A default question will appear. Modify the question type by clicking on the drop-down menu provided on the right.
 1. From here, you can also customize the question that appears, such as changing the question title & description text.
 1. Configure your scale question by clicking the configuration panel on the right-hand side of your new field.
