How do I add a long text question field quickly?
### Field Types

Need to add a long text question field quickly? With the power of slash commands, you can do it in seconds!

 1. On a blank line in the form editor, type `/long` and select "Text (Long)" from the dropdown menu.

 1. Enter details for the question title and description.
 1. Click on the Text question field and navigate to the Question Panel to set up question-specific behavior, such as [Conditional Logic](https://paperform.co/help/articles/how-do-i-configure-question-logic/).

With that, you're all set! Pretty easy, right?

> **Tip:** You can change the height of the field by adding or removing lines in the Question Panel. This is listed under "How many lines of text should the question be?" and is set to 5 by default.

## Gotchas

 - "Text (Long)" will only appear in the slash commands menu - you must use the "Allow multiple lines of text" option within a standard Text field to add more lines to an existing question field.
