Can I personalize the form URL?
### Configuring Behavior

Depending on your plan, you can personalize the URL of your forms and additionally, bring in your own custom domain.

### **Custom URL**

On some plans, you can personalize the first part of the URL under Configure → Details.

This is also sometimes referred to as the "form slug" - for example: "slug.paperform.co" or "yourdomain.com/slug".

For example, the form URL [9rotj04g.paperform.co](https://9rotj04g.paperform.co/) can be customized to [pottery.paperform.co](https://pottery.paperform.co/).

When your form is first created, we automatically generate a default URL for your form. This is completely unique created from random numbers and letters.

The **default** URL on your form cannot be changed, however, custom URLs and domains can act as an alias to make your form URL more appealing.

### **Custom Domain**

To help personalize the form URL, some plans allow you to bring your own domain. For example, [my-form.paperform.co](https://my-form.paperform.co) will be available at [example.com/my-form](http://example.com/my-form). You can optionally configure a custom home page which will be available at [example.com](http://example.com).

## Gotchas

 - There is a 200-character limit on the name for your form.
 - When using a **custom** form URL or domain, the **original** auto-generated form URL will continue to function alongside the new one and cannot be disabled.
