How do I charge my customers fees/taxes on my form?
### Payments

You can add fees or taxes to your form, either:

 1. For fixed fees (e.g. postage), we recommend using a [Price field](https://paperform.co/help/articles/price-field/#:~:text=%22Price%20fields%22%20are%20the%20most,often%20used%20for%20donation%20forms).).
 1. For a percentage tax on charges, you can set a value for "Payment tax percentage" under Configure → Payments, or with [Custom Pricing Rules](https://paperform.co/help/articles/custom-pricing-rules/).
 1. For a percentage tax on Stripe subscriptions created through Paperform, you can also set a value for "Subscription tax percentage" under Configure → Payments. Note that subscriptions are handled independently of normal charges.

### Gotchas

 - To set a value for "Subscription tax percentage" you need to have connected a [Stripe payment account](https://paperform.co/help/articles/connect-stripe-account/) to your form.
