How do I add a cover image to my form to display when it's shared on social platforms?
### Sharing
        ![(iframe)](https://www.loom.com/embed/d03d183003464be2b494e795e85370ee?hide_owner=true&hide_share=true&hide_title=true&hideEmbedTopBar=true)

A cover image (commonly known as a thumbnail, or OG image) will appear when you link your form to social media. This is also the image which appears in your Paperform dashboard list as a thumbnail next to the form title.

To set up your cover image:

 1. Open the form editor and navigate to Configure → Details.
 1. Under the heading "Cover Image", click "Choose a File".
 1. Upload your own image file (recommended size is 600 x 400 pixels), or choose a file from the Unsplash or Adobe Creative Cloud Plugins.

### Editing your cover image

After you've uploaded it, you can use the [built-in image editor](https://paperform.co/help/articles/can-i-edit-my-images/) to adjust levels, crop, resize, or even add annotations to your cover image. Click on the image's thumbnail under the heading "Cover Image" after it's been uploaded to pull up the image editor.

### Gotchas

 - Form **cover images** are different to **header images**, or generally images that appear on your form - these images are designated to be displayed in specific circumstances, and *won't appear* as part of your general form content.
 - If the form has been shared to **Facebook** before, you may need to clear Facebook’s cache. To do this, go to [https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/](https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/) and enter in the URL of the form. Click the “Debug” button, and then on the next page, click the “Scrape again” button.
